Dog Days

We are not in Spain - striking air traffic controllers in France prevented us from going as planned.  Hopefully we will get there next week for a few days.  In the meantime we while away the days walking the Grand Union Canal.  Here's a few pictures from today's walk to Rickmansworth.

    Taggerty and Toad often reminisced about the adventures of their great granddam (Bayard Rustle) and grandsire (Tragband Summer and Smoke), following scents along canal paths. Of course, that was before they emigrated to sunnier climes.

    Perhaps T & T are following scents along canals up the rainbow now!

    Yes, I do believe there is a Great Canal up the rainbow. I also believe T&T may be wise to keep quiet as to their grandees' names. The girls at Grimshaw's are sniggering.

    loveliness. It really does look heavenly. I think Honey would like to live like that- not sure about Lilly and Leila.
